Picnic Terms and Conditions
All picnics are reserved only when a minimum of 40% of the invoice is paid. This amount will be deducted from the total event cost. The remaining balance MUST be paid 1 week (7 days) before the picnic day.
The number of guests must be confirmed at least 7 days before the picnic date.
A refundable security deposit of $100 must be paid on all picnic reservations. This amount already appears in the pricing. This security deposit will be refunded to the customer with the original payment method once the decor items are picked up by Syel's team. All items must be returned in the same condition they were given. If items are broken, damaged, or lost, the security deposit will not be refunded. It is the responsibility of the person who booked to stay until a member of Syel's team arrives onsite to pick up the decor.
The decor will be installed by Syel. If no one will be on-site to inform Syel of the location, a floor plan will be requested ahead of time and the location must be confirmed by the host. In the eventuality that no information is provided, Syel will install the decor in a safe place of its choice. Syel will not proceed to set up if issues regarding location, incorrect address, venue refusal, failure to provide safe access to the site, etc. occur. Syel reserves the right to cancel any rental if the aforementioned issues are encountered.
Certain items like the carts are decorative stands to display desserts and other small items. The items are not a moveable piece of furniture. Once it’s assembled, do not attempt to move, rearrange, disassemble, or add excessive weight to it. Attempts to move or add excessive weight can unbalance the item and will result in damage to the cart itself. The candy cart, plates, desserts and can pose a safety hazard. Damaged, broken, or otherwise affected carts, backdrop, and other decor elements will result in the security deposit being forfeited. Syel does not take any responsibility for damages to the cart, venue, hazards, or event attendees' leaning and/or pushing on items.
Acceptable payments are E-Transfer, debit, and credit card. We do not accept cash payments at this time. Please note there's a small % service charge on all credit card payments.
Rental Terms and Conditions
All rental cart orders will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please contact us for availability.

Rental items are not available for pickup. Delivery only.
An additional, refundable security deposit of $100 must be paid on order. This security deposit is issued on all rental item cart or backdrop orders, regardless of price. The security deposit will be refunded back to the customer via the original payment method once the rental items are picked up by Syel. At this time, balloons, flowers, decorations, or other props are not automatically included in the price. This must be requested as extra.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy for main themes picnics (Cloudless, Citrus, Daydreaming)
Please note that once you have booked an event with us it means that we have reserved time in our schedule exclusively for you. All 40% down payments (deposit) are non-refundable.
If you cancel after paying the full balance, you can receive a refund on the total minus the 40% deposit. Please provide a cancellation notice at least 48 hours before your decor is installed.
You can also reschedule the event subject to availability without paying another 40% deposit.

Cancellation and Refund Policy for customized picnics and large group events:
Please note, all 40% down payments (deposit) are non-refundable. Make sure you're sure about your event before putting down any money. Why no refund? Your deposit goes towards buying materials, which can't be returned once ordered and we start putting time to create your event. We also reserve the date for you which does not allow us to book other clients. If you cancel, you'll have to pay for any work that's already been done, which is why we keep the deposit.
More than 72h notice cancellation:
If you cancel after paying the full balance, you can receive a refund on the total minus the 40% deposit.
You can also reschedule the event subject to availability without paying another 40% deposit.
Less than 72h notice cancellation:
While we do not offer any refunds, you can reschedule the event subject to availability within 7-days of the original picnic date.
You can also decide to receive a credit note which is valid for 1 year from the cancellation date.
Payment Policy:
100% payment will be made 7 business days before the event.
The $100 security deposit will be returned to you once we have packed up and confirmed that nothing is missing or damaged. Please note that it can take up to 24 hours for the bank transfer to be received by your financial institution.
The 40% deposit to book is not refundable.
